SINGAPORE: The Sultanate of Oman was selected among the list of best travel destinations for 2027 in the annual list of World Travel Magazine, which encompasses 50 tourist destinations around the world.
The selection of the Sultanate of Oman within the list of the Singapore-based magazine reflects its growing presence on the international tourism map, as well as its natural and cultural assets and diverse tourism experiences.
The Sultanate of Oman was included within the Middle East category under the title “Best for Arab Hospitality”, as the magazine praised the diversity of the Omani tourism landscape — from deserts and mountains to coastlines — alongside what it described as the distinctive nature of Omani hospitality and the warm reception of visitors.
World Travel Magazine pointed out that the Sultanate of Oman features stunning desert landscapes, towering mountains and an extended coastline, considering one of the most prominent elements of the travel experience to the Sultanate of Oman to be getting to know the Omani people and their characteristic hospitality and care for visitors.
The “Best in Travel” list presents a curated selection of recommended tourist destinations to be among travellers’ choices for the following year.
